Privacy & Data Use
This site does not collect personal accounts or store identifying user data. It generates temporary citation analysis artifacts based solely on public OpenAlex author information you request.
What we receive from you
- An author name OR an OpenAlex author ID/URL
- An optional start year filter
What we create temporarily
Each analysis run creates a short-lived directory identified by a random 8‑character run ID. It contains:
- CSV / Excel citation time series
- PNG plots of monthly / yearly citations
- PDF reports (citation report & publications list)
meta.json
summarizing author metrics- Optional small debug JSON snippets (sample rows, counts)
No persistent author cache
The app performs a fresh fetch for each analysis and only ephemeral run artifacts are stored.
How long outputs persist
- Outputs live in the system temp directory (ephemeral)
- The previous run for the same browser session is deleted automatically when you start a new one
- A background TTL janitor removes runs older than 2 hours
- All data disappears on server restart or OS temp cleanup
No tracking or profiling
- No user accounts, passwords, or emails
- No IP storage inside the app (web server access logs may still exist)
- No third‑party ad pixels
Third-party API
